We are still looking for a members to serve on Committees. By being on a committee you have the opportunity to get know your fellow REALTORS and a great way to build relationships plus networking! Just email or call the office if you would like to be on a committee. We will have sign up slips at the Annual Meeting on September 12! Below is little about each of the committees.
PROGRAM / AWARDS COMMITTEE
This committee is responsible for the arrangement and conduct of regular Membership Meetings, annual award program and special events at meetings such as the Christmas Party. And, to ensure the recognition of any REALTOR® who has shown excellence to the profession, education achievements, or community involvement.
PHILANTHROPIC COMMITTEE
The committee is to consider and decide, with the approval of the Board of Directors, projects within the community to support by funding and/or activities. Funding for contributions shall be raised by the endeavors of the Committee.
LEGISLATIVE/RPAC COMMITTEE
To be knowledgeable on the Board’s focal point for legislation on local, state and national levels, and of the impact such may have on the real estate industry; to establish a working relationship with elected officials. RPAC is an important and potent legislative tool, available to assure that elected officials carefully consider REALTOR® positions on legislative matters. This committee raises funds for the local, state and national RPAC to ensure legislators are elected who will enhance the industry, or to educate on issues of importance to the industry.
For some reason you are unable to attend the Sept 12 Annual Meeting at Buckeye Sports Lodge, you can vote ahead of time. Just call or email the office and I will send you a ballot. All absentee ballots must be requested by September 11 at 10:00 AM return no later than Noon on September 11.

September is REALTOR Safety Month! Midwestern Ohio Association and Springfield is working together to present programs for our Brokers. Second in the series is “Are Brokers Accountable for REALTOR Safety?” It will be held at Hobart Arena in Troy on September 13 beginning at 9 AM. 3 hrs. of CE.
In the afternoon beginning at 1:30- 3:30 PM we will be having a Safety Course for Agents. It will be a 2 hrs. of CE. Flyer will be available soon!
